Activity Objective1) Obtain knowledge of students through tests, observations, and student records; 2) Obtain knowledge of students through tests, observations, and student records; 3) Identify, select and apply appropriate data-based instructional measures in making instructional and behavioral decisions and planning individual student programs (e.g., IEPs, etc.) and, 4) Use performance data and teacher/student/parent input to make or suggest instructional decisions and/or modifications, as appropriate in the learning environment.
Activity DescriptionCandidates will create a Psycho-Educational Report. In groups, candidates will conduct a review of the administration, scoring and interpretation of test presentations/competency check (50 pts). Candidates will be evaluated on the accuracy of the procedures and the appropriateness of their selection of instructional materials and strategies considering students' learning disabilities and the English language learners' level of English proficiency. A reflection on this project is also required to document professional growth and learning.
